Hi, I’m Natasha.
I provide Sworn Official Translations of: Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Apostilles, Diplomas, Academic Transcripts, Driving Licenses and Driving Records, Court Judgments, Bills, Letters and Emails, and Unofficial Translations of Articles or Websites.
When the law requires the presence of a Court-Appointed Translator, I assist clients at appointments at Notary offices in the PACA region. This includes buying or selling property, estate planning and inheritance proceedings. I also interpret for weddings and civil unions in France.
I also have deep experience copy-editing for academic journals and proofing websites or other content that may have been translated and simply needs a second set of eyes to verify correctness (including grammar, spelling and cultural aspects.)
I hold a Ph.D. in Languages and Cultures from The University of California at Berkeley, as well as Masters degrees in French and Linguistics. Being bi-cultural and having experienced different ways of living and working in the U.S. and then France (for more than a decade) I provide increased sensitivity to cultural protocols and attention to detail of formalities.
