I am a people photographer. I make environmental portraits, and tell stories about people: what they do, their strengths, what drives them.

Whether I’m making a portrait of an award-winning film director at the Cannes Film Festival, the CEO of a perfume brand aboard their superyacht or a truffle hunter searching deep in the woods, being a portrait photographer enables me to explore what makes each of us unique, yet also capture the simple threads that join us all together and make us human.

Based in the South of France, I’m British and speak fluent French (as well as basic – yet enthusiastic – Russian). My work takes me across Europe and beyond. I’ve been up at dawn to make a portrait in the Sahara Desert, captured Michelin-starred chefs at work in busy kitchens and photographed a renowned space artist as he sent a laser message to the moon. I was invited to Russia’s best-known photography festival to lead workshops and feel privileged to have had my work exhibited during Les Rencontres d’Arles (as a finalist in OpenWalls Arles, the international award run by the British Journal of Photography). Each photography experience gives me a new perspective, the chance to see and share beauty in unexpected places and an opportunity to explore the incredible world we live in.
