Owasinda

469 Chemin de Fondurane, Montauroux, France

Website

Owasinda, which is the Zulu word for “survivor” or “the one who survived”, does not only have a personal meaning for us, but also serves as a metaphor for what we see as the survivor of time – THE TREE.

That is why at Owasinda we see trees not only as an important component of nature that should be honored, but is also why we decided to create furniture that can be shared over generations, because just as the tree itself, furniture carries memories.

All of our wood comes from FSC certified forests, which means that the wood products are not only renewable, but that they come from forests that are managed responsibly.

We support the fact that the FSC prohibits deforestation, forest degradation and illegal logging in certified areas.
