Overview
My name is Marianne Kolstø from Fjellhamar, Lørenskog in Norway.
My passion for travel started at a young age, when back in 1996 I started working in Turkey, then onto Spain, and eventually ending in Nice, France – 20 years ago as a ‘Star Guide’ / Fritidsresor Guide.
After 5 years I diversified and moved into the hotelier industry, and became the Front Office Manager for the Holiday Inn in Nice, dealing with guests ranging from tourists through to the management of several global airline crews who would stay at our hotel.
My career then took me into a large chain of hotels called the 3A – ‘The Aston’, ‘Beau Rivage’ and the ‘West End’, eventually becoming Sales Manager which involved extensive travel, promoting the hotel brand throughout europe.
Things changed when my son, Theo came into my life 2010. On returning to work I resumed as Front Office Manager at the Grand Hotel Aston.
Now with some 10 years in the Hotel Industry it was time to use my knowledge, expertise and experience and start my own concierge organisation, et Voila! – M’agence Marianne was born.
