Choir based in Grasse (06) singing all kinds of music including classic, gospel and jazz. Concerts in France and abroad. Always looking for male voices but particularly tenors.
Founded in 1978, Cantifolia, Chœur de Grasse (formerly the Ensemble choral du Conservatoire de Grasse, ECCG ) celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2008!
The choir, made up of about fifty amateur choristers directed since 2002 by Jacques Maes , presents a diverse repertoire ranging from the Middle Ages to the contemporary. He performs in France and abroad, in particular during exchanges with the towns twinned with Grasse: Bulgaria , Hungary, Germany , etc. A trip to Italy took place in July 2013 as part of the Grand Festival choral from Verona and a trip to Helsinki is planned in June 2017, as part of an exchange with the Helsingin Filharmonienen Kuoro.
