Catalina, has been teaching yoga since 2003 after having followed the 4-year teacher training course with Bernard Bouanchaud, student of T.K.V. Desikachar.
It was at the age of 22 that she discovered yoga. At the time, working in a company as a communications officer, her practice brought her the great relaxation necessary for her hectic life. She discovered the physical and psychological benefits of postures and especially of breathing.
Yoga is taking more and more place in her life. Gradually, his quest for personal development will lead him to training in relaxation therapy as well as training in yoga. She then left the corporate world to devote herself entirely to teaching yoga.
She opened a personal development center in the Alpes-Maritimes, Espace Soham, where many activities are offered: yoga, sound yoga, meditation, sophrology, Ayurvedic massage, Qi Gong, etc.
Combining her passion for yoga and for nature, she regularly organizes hikes and “Yoga and Hiking” courses. These stays always take place in splendid sites cut off from the world. It thus offers its students moments of renewal in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In 2009, meeting the drum at the turn of a side road opened up new horizons for him: those of the shamanic world. While maintaining her yoga practice and activities, Catalina dives into other worlds… To finally realize that all practices lead to the same ultimate goal: openness to the Sacred.
From drum to djembe, from djembe to African music, there was only one step!
Catalina relied on the vibrations of percussions and repetitive rhythms to accompany the Longo, the African anchor dance. In the form of a monthly workshop, she put all her energy and good humor into drawing her friends and students into dance and allowing them to reconnect with their vital energy and allow themselves to let their body express itself in its most. simple and pure expression.
For more than 5 years, his taste for travel, his multicultural interest, his open-mindedness and his enthusiasm have led him today to offer internships and healing stays abroad.
