ShareRiviera.com is a website for finding Trades and Services based on the French Riviera who provide their service though the English language. By viewing this website, or creating or operating an account on this website, you fully accept the Terms and Conditions outlined below.
Service
Information provided on the website is gathered directly from the Trades and Services or the Internet and is intended as a guide only. We endeavour to screen or validate content posted by business listings and reviewers as best we can but we do not endorse any information, review or service. If you decide to engage a trade or service you do so at your own risk. Share Riviera will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website or the services listed upon it.
Account
Your account may be used to post business listings, view and update your account information, or to track your favourite listings. To protect the integrity of business listings and account information, each account has a periodic expiry date. On expiry you must re-confirm that your business listing and/or account details are correct. Share Riviera retains the right to remove unconfirmed accounts and/or associated listings.
Privacy Policy
Information provided as part of ‘Adding a Business’ listing or ‘Claiming Ownership’ of a business listing is considered to be public information. You agree the information you provide may be used to promote your business or service and allow people to contact your business or service directly. The information you upload must be accurate, up-to-date and comply with the applicable law in France and not promote illegal activity.
The email address you enter as part of the website registration process to establish a user account is considered private information and will not be made publicly available. This email will be used for the operation of your website account. You will also receive occasional relevant email newsletters. You may unsubscribe from these newsletters anytime by using the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of the email. We do not sell, rent, share or distribute your private information in any way, with anyone, ever.
Cookies
Like the majority of online services, we use cookies to monitor usage and traffic patterns on our website. These cookies do not contain any personal information. A GDPR acknowledgement is displayed the first time you visit the website and continued use of the website requires your acceptance of this.
Business Listings
Business listings may be posted by business owners or their employees where authorised to do so. A basic free Business Listing includes business name, address, description, contact detail and reviews, business logo and minimum one photograph. Additional or premium features may be offered from time to time but you are under no obligation to avail of these additional features. This does not affect your basic listing which will remain free. Share Rivera reserves the right to review this policy after 31 December 2021.
Removal or Cancellation
Share Riviera retains the right to remove any account or business listing for abuse of this service, which have not been confirmed, renewed or kept up-to-date, or which contain incorrect, unlawful or false information. Share Riviera retains the absolute right to adjust or remove any listing for any editorial reason as it sees fit. If you wish for your Business Listing to be removed from the service, simply contact us and it will be removed within seven working days.
Review Policy
Reviews are independently verified by email or telephone call with the reviewer. If a business listing wishes to include reviews posted on Facebook, Google My Business or other third party service, you must include a link to the original review on the third party service. All reviews will be passed for moderation which can take three to five working days. Reviews will only be considered for publication if they meet review guidelines.
In the case of a negative review contested by the owner of a business listing, Share Riviera shall act as an arbitrator between the reviewer and the business listing owner. If a fake review, positive or negative, is discovered it will be removed. If a negative view can be proven factual by the reviewer, it shall remain published. Share Riviera’s decision shall be final.
Disputes
The website is part of a network of trade directories operated by TheShareCompany.com which is operated by SBI Europe Ltd, a business registered in the Republic of Cyprus: HE277621. All disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus. Failure by Share Riviera to enforce its rights under these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a general waiver of such rights.
Effective Date
These Terms and Conditions are effective 01 August 2020 until further notice.
